A message from the Hopkinsville Rotary Club:

Since 1950, due to the generous support of community donors, funds raised during the Hopkinsville Rotary Auction have provided over $11 million in student loans to local area students to further their post high school education. Most recently, the auction has also funded the Hopkinsville Community College Rotary Scholars Program, giving local high school graduates the opportunity to attend HCC tuition-free. Since 2012, 1,041 Rotary Scholars have been able to take part in this endeavor.

This year, as we simultaneously launch the newly-formed Hopkinsville Rotary Foundation, the 72nd Annual Rotary Auction carries a theme of "Building the Foundation."

Scheduled for April 18-23 at the War Memorial Building (1202 S. Virginia Street) in downtown Hopkinsville, this year's Rotary Auction plans to return with the usual diner, sweet shop and in-person viewing/bidding, AS WELL AS some new features that will be announced in the near future.

Supporters can listen on 98.7 FM or 1230 AM WHOP, view the live stream on www.HopkinsvilleRotary.com or watch on Spectrum Cable channel 376.

The Auction helps support the Rotary Scholars Program and other youth and education-based efforts in the community. The financial support of our donors not only makes a significant difference in the lives of Christian County students, but it also works to improve the overall quality of the available workforce.

Over the years, this annual auction has grown into the largest single fundraiser in all of Rotary International, so we hope you'll #BidHigh and #BidOften in April!
