A message from the Hopkinsville Rotary Club:

Since 1950, due to the generous support of community donors, funds raised during the Hopkinsville Rotary Auction have provided over $11 million in student loans to local area students to further their post high school education.  Since 2012, the auction has also funded the Hopkinsville Community College Rotary Scholars Program, giving local high school graduates the opportunity to attend HCC tuition-free.  Since its inception, the Rotary Scholars program has allowed over 1,600 students to take part in this endeavor.

In 2021, the Hopkinsville Rotary Foundation was launched, and since then have given over $180,000 in targeted and intentional grants to various non-profits serving the youth of Christian County.  We intend to do the same in 2024!  In 2022, the Rotary Impact program was developed.  Essentially a workforce development and talent pipeline endowment for high demand industries; it has expanded into teaching, agriculture and healthcare.

Enjoy our "Big Board" online auction, but there is also a week long - in person auction that anyone can participate.

Scheduled for April 22-27 at the War Memorial Building (1202 S. Virginia Street) in downtown Hopkinsville, this year's Rotary Auction plans to return with the usual diner, sweet shop and in-person viewing/bidding.  Our theme this year is "Purposeful Pathways".  No matter if the scholars desire to go to college, get a technical education or short term skilled trade certificates - YOUR donations are where careers are born and self sufficiency begins and dreams are realized.

Supporters can listen on 98.7 FM, view the live stream on www.HopkinsvilleRotary.com, the Hopkinsville Rotary Facebook page or YouTube Channel, or watch on Spectrum Cable channel 376.

The financial support of our donors not only makes a significant difference in the lives of Christian County students, but it also works to improve the overall quality of the available workforce.

Over the years, this annual auction has grown into the largest single event fundraiser in all of Rotary International, so we hope you'll #BidHigh and #BidOften in April!”
